About Swan Island Networks

Founded in 2002, Swan Island Networks is a private company led by experienced, successful entrepreneurs. The company was founded to address the information sharing weaknesses clearly highlighted by such events as 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.

Our mission is to use Internet-based technology to create flexible, intelligent, high-trust computing environments and to give people more choice and control over when, where, how and with whom they share information.

Since April, 2007, we have been a partner in the Secure Information Sharing Architecture—SISA—in conjunction with Cisco, EMC, Microsoft, Liquid Machines, and Titus Labs. We are headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
