SwitchGate

SwitchGate is an intelligent gateway with a built-in information transformation engine. It is the TIES component responsible for importing, fusing, structuring and securing external information feeds.

SwitchGate consumes data from sources as diverse as video sensors, proprietary and legacy systems, RSS and Web feeds, weather stations, structured data stores and much more. Since 2003, it has successfully consumed unstructured data from metro 9-1-1 systems, local police and fire, enterprise legacy systems and other hard-to-integrate information sources. SwitchGate also tracks and tags sensitive information, and can provide an immutable audit trail for policy and regulatory compliance.

SwitchGate is compliant with key elements of many emerging federal information standards and data models, including CAP (Common Alerting Protocol), GJXML, and NIEM. Its built-in transformation engine can take information from one system and transform it into a format that another system can understand.
