TIES Architecture

TIES’ service is built upon architecture comprised of Swan Island Networks’ SWARM^® (US pat. 7,337,146) and SwitchGate^® (pat. pending) technologies. SWARM was launched in 2002, and in 2004 was rated a “Top Performer” and a “complete success” in the NORTHCOM-hosted 2004 Joint Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (JWID), one of the largest military exercises in the world. The technologies were launched together in 2003 as the foundation for Connect & Protect, an award-winning sensitive information sharing program.
